About Burz Facility Services
A Montgomery-owned cleaning company built by someone who spent eleven years on the other side of the contract.
Started in a spare room on Summitt Street in 2016
Burz began with one van, two employees and a single dental practice on Carter Hill Road. Susan Miller had spent over a decade running environmental services for a regional hospital group, and she had a specific frustration: the large national janitorial firms would win a contract at an impossible price, then quietly reduce labour hours every quarter until the building was visibly failing.
The idea behind Burz was almost unfashionably simple — publish the scope, staff it honestly, price it so it can be staffed honestly, and let the client audit us monthly.
Nine years later we clean around 240 buildings a month across Montgomery, Prattville, Wetumpka, Millbrook and Auburn, with 38 W-2 employees and a fleet of eleven vehicles. We have never taken on a contract outside a 45-mile radius, and we do not intend to.

Four commitments that appear in every contract

Published, auditable scope
Every agreement contains a room-by-room task matrix. Nothing is described as "general cleaning as required". If a task is not written down, you are not being charged for it — and if it is, it happens.
Stable, vetted crews
Employees, not subcontractors. Every person is E-Verified, criminal-background-checked and trained on your specific site before their first unsupervised shift. Your assigned team does not rotate.
Honest environmental claims
We use Green Seal and EPA Safer Choice certified products where an effective certified product exists, and we say plainly where it does not — clinical-grade disinfection, for instance, uses EPA List N registered chemistry.
Fix-it-free guarantee
Report a missed area within 24 hours of a clean and we return and correct it at no charge, usually the same or next business day. Details are in our Service & Refund Policy.
