This website, https://burz.jaivis.co.ke, is owned and operated by Burz Facility Services ("Burz", "we", "us", "our"), a commercial cleaning business owned by Susan Miller and based at 748 Summitt Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36106, United States. We are the controller responsible for personal information collected through this website and through our commercial relationships.

This policy explains, in plain English, what we collect and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email support@burz.jaivis.co.ke and we will explain it.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

• Contact and quote requests: your name, company name, business email address, telephone number, site address, approximate building size, the service you are interested in and anything you write in the message field.
• Correspondence: emails, text messages and call notes exchanged with our office.
• Client account data: for customers under contract — billing contact details, purchase order references, site access instructions and service schedules.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page and the pages you view on this site, together with time stamps.
• Cookie data: only the identifiers described in our Cookie Policy, and only in the categories you allow.

2.3 What we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, payment card numbers through this website, health information, biometric data, precise geolocation, or any special category data. Card payments, where used, are handled by our payment processor and card numbers never reach our website or servers.

3. How we use information

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a written cleaning quote
• To arrange and carry out a site walk-through
• To deliver, schedule and supervise contracted cleaning services
• To issue invoices and manage payment
• To keep records required by Alabama and United States law, including tax and insurance records
• To investigate and resolve service complaints, damage claims or insurance matters
• To measure which pages and advertisements bring genuine enquiries, so we do not waste money advertising to the wrong people
• To protect this website against fraud, abuse and technical attack

We do not sell personal information. We do not share your contact details with other cleaning companies, lead-generation brokers or data resellers. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles beyond the aggregate conversion measurement described in our Cookie Policy.

4. Legal bases and consent

Where we operate under United States law, we process your information to perform a contract with you, to comply with our legal obligations, and for our legitimate business interest in running and improving a cleaning company. Non-essential cookies are set only after you give consent through our cookie banner, and you may withdraw that consent at any time using the cookie settings link in our footer.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the website functioning and remember your cookie choice — these cannot be switched off. 6. Sharing and disclosure

We share personal information only in these situations:

• Service providers: our web host, email provider, accounting software provider and, where you consent, analytics and advertising measurement providers. Each is bound by contract to use the data only for the service they provide to us.
• Professional advisers: our accountant, insurer or legal counsel, where genuinely necessary.
• Legal requirements: where we are required to disclose information by law, court order or a lawful request from a government authority.
• Business transfer: if the business is sold or merged, client records may transfer to the acquirer, who would remain bound by this policy until you are notified otherwise.

7. Retention

• Unsuccessful quote enquiries: deleted within 24 months of the last contact
• Client contract and service records: retained for 7 years after the contract ends, for tax, insurance and liability purposes
• Invoices and financial records: 7 years, as required for United States tax records
• Website analytics data: aggregated after 14 months
• Cookie consent records: 12 months from the date you made the choice

8. Security

This website is served over HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate. Access to our email and accounting systems is restricted to authorised staff, protected by strong passwords and multi-factor authentication. Paper records are stored in a locked cabinet at our Summitt Street office. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affecting your personal information occurs we will notify affected individuals and any authority required by applicable law without undue delay.

9. Your rights and choices

You may, at any time:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
• Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep
• Ask us to stop sending you any non-essential communications
• Withdraw your cookie consent through the cookie settings link
• Object to processing based on our legitimate interests

Send requests to support@burz.jaivis.co.ke with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We respond within 30 days and never charge a fee for a reasonable request. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing information.

Alabama and other United States residents: we honour the rights above for every enquirer regardless of the state they live in, including access, correction, deletion and opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information — noting that we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in the first place. We also honour browser-level opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control where our systems detect them.

10. Children

This is a business-to-business website. Our services are not marketed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

This site links to a small number of external resources, such as an embedded map. Those providers have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices. The map on our contact page is loaded from OpenStreetMap only when that section of the page is reached.

12. Visitors from outside the United States

Our operations and servers are located in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country. By submitting an enquiry you understand and accept this transfer.

13. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The effective date at the top of the page always reflects the current version. Material changes affecting existing clients are also communicated by email.
